# Sitemap.xml (/dashboard/site-health/sitemap)

A sitemap.xml lists the pages on your site so search engines can find them. The Sitemap.xml page builds one from your URLs, and you decide what goes in it.

## Create your sitemap.xml [#create-your-sitemapxml]

1. Open **Site Health → Sitemap.xml** in the dashboard.
2. Review the list of your URLs. You can edit a URL, switch it off, or remove it, and press **Add New URL** to include another page.
3. Press **Generate** to build the file. After that, press **Save Changes** whenever you edit the list.
4. **Copy** or **Download** your sitemap.xml.
5. Host the file at your domain, at the address the page shows.
6. Add it to Google Search Console so Google knows where to find it.
