Brand Protection watches for lookalike domains — misspellings and variations of your domain that someone could register to impersonate your brand, poach your traffic, or phish your customers. Catching them early is far cheaper than cleaning up after an incident.

RapidWombat scans for lookalike domains automatically every week. Click **Re-scan now** whenever you want a fresh report — for example after a suspicious email lands in a customer's inbox.

## What you see [#what-you-see]

Each detected domain comes with:

* **Similarity** — how closely it resembles your domain
* **Registration** — whether the domain is registered or still available
* **IP address and location** — where the domain points, and from which country
* **First seen** — when the domain first appeared
* **Active** — whether it currently resolves to a live site

A registered, active lookalike with high similarity deserves a closer look. Unregistered variants are opportunities — you can register the important ones yourself before anyone else does.
